Health & Wellness: Dr. Oz’s easy-to-follow fat burning remedies




Ladies, if you have been fighting tooth and nail in search of ways to successfully burn out that stubborn fat and keep it off for good, then worry no more. Dr. Oz have some tips on how you can flush that annoying fat.

First, let’s talk about the fat-burning power of green tea plus garlic. Dr. Oz says: “When the pancreas is overwhelmed and blood sugars are high, this organ isn’t able to burn energy efficiently and remove fat. An overworked pancreas can lead to fat storage, particularly stubborn belly fat. To invigorate your pancreas and eliminate fat, drink a cup of garlic green tea each day.”



How to make this fat-flushing tea:

  • Steep one green tea bag in hot water for 5 minutes, such as Bigelow Green Tea.
  • Add 2 to 3 whole, peeled garlic cloves and let them steep for 3 to 5 minutes.

In addition, Dr. Oz recommends vitamin C, which also boosts your body’s fat-burning abilities. He recommends a minimum of 75 mg of vitamin C a day “to help your body turn fat into energy and burn it off.”  Our tip: Some vitamin C tablets are so large that they’re hard to swallow.  And then there is the underdog, vinegar. Dr. Oz insists that it can block fat from accumulating if you drink white vinegar after eating sugar and carbs. According to Dr. Oz, drinking 2 tablespoon of white vinegar after each meal, especially if it’s carb-heavy can reduce the glycemic index of a meal by more than 25%.
